Alpha Phi Omega is a Co-ed Service and Leadership (non-profit) organization. Our purpose as a college organization is to develop leadership, promote friendship and to provide service to humanity.
Alpha Phi Omega is the single most representative undergraduate intercollegiate organization in the US. There are over 17,000 members nationwide. Although we are Co-Ed, we still call ourselves a "brotherhood" because APO originated as a Fraternity. Brotherhood to us is the spirit of friendship. It implies respect, honesty and dependability. It means that we overlook differences and emphasize similarities as we join together in unselfish service.
