Do-It-Yourself Homeowners

DESCRIPTION:
The Lead Poisoning Prevention Program will offer Lead Safe Work Practices
training. This course will provide you with:
-
A background in the history and
health effects of lead
-
An explanation of the current
laws concerning renovation involving lead paint
-
Hands-on training in methods
used when performing renovation
-
Strategies for working safely
where lead based paint is involved
-
A certificate, N-100 dust mask
and more upon completion
This course follows a HUD certified curriculum.
Cost: $60, pre-registration required no later than Monday, June 23,
2008.
