Alpha Xi Delta : Alpha Xi Delta is participating in the Bowling for Kids Philanthropy on February 24th from 1-3pm at Star Lanes. They are also holding an Easter Egg Hunt on the UNC Asheville quad on March 31st. In addition, they are planning to hold philanthropy projects during the Fall and Spring Semesters to help raise money to purchase livestock for people in underprivileged countries. They plan to raise enough to buy an arc of animals, through the Hefer Project International. Alpha Xi Delta plans to raise the money through donations made for their babysitting services. They also are organizing a book drive philanthropy.
Gamma Phi Beta : Gamma Phi Beta babysat during the State of Black Asheville conference on February 17th from 9am-5pm. They held a gas pumping philanthropy on October 13th and rasied over $700 for their philanthropies. They are also helping with Fern Gully on the Quad, October 18th at 7-9pm. Gamma Phi Beta made Valentine's Day cards for Helpmate.
Sigma Nu : Sigma Nu held a 24 Hour Basketball Tournament philanthropy to raise money for the YMCA and YWCA of Western North Carolina on February 10th at 8pm- February 11th at 8pm. They also held a local road cleaning during the Fall Semester.
Theta Chi :
Greek Council : Many Greeks volunteered for the Pie Eating Contest which Greek Council sponsored on November 7th.
