Movement of Water over Earth’s Surface

Students take an imaginary journey with water in its solid form as it travels around the world.  *Upper elementary/middle school level

  • Setting: anywhere, not necessarily in the classroom
  • Duration: prep time=10 minutes/ activity time=20 minutes

Wastewater Management
Macro invertebrate Mayhem pg. 322

Students play a game of tag to simulate the effects of environmental stressors on macro invertebrate populations. *Upper elementary/middle school level

  • Setting: large playing field
