This lesson encourages students to think about where the natural resources come from and the processes by which these resources are extracted. They consider the environmental, cultural, and human rights issues that are frequently associated with the extraction of natural resources. They’ll conduct Internet specific resources and create presentations to showcase what they’ve learned.
