About
NEMAC and UNCA

Physical Resources

In support of a NEMAC research grant sponsored by the Office of the President, a 13-node (26 processor) Linux cluster was purchased and installed on the UNCA campus to allow the generation of computer weather forecasts for western North Carolina in real time (http://wrf.atms.unca.edu/) and for research purposes.

A Hewlett-Packard poster printer was purchased by NEMAC and is available to the UNCA community for producing posters to display at conferences and special events.
