Now that you are interested in pursuing a research project with NEMAC you will need to find a Faculty Mentor who has a collaborative relationship with NEMAC. Discuss your idea with your Faculty Mentor and create a research proposal together. 

When you are ready to proceed, complete the Requirements for NEMAC Student Research Employees and complete the documents for hire:

• I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification
  (if you do not already have one on file at UNCA)
  
• W-4/NC-4 Tax Withholding Form
  
• UNCA Career Center – Student Employment Contract
  

At the 1st of every month you will submit a written report to the NEMAC Student Coordinator (manns@unca.edu).  For more information on monthly reports, see the Requirements for NEMAC Student Research Employees

On the 14th of each month:  Timesheets must be submitted to the NEMAC office
