Adam is working with the National Climatic Data Center to compare the
NARR (North American Regional Reanalysis) and the IGRA (Integrated
Global Rawinsonde Archive) to find any biases. Such biases could depict
an inaccurate description of our atmosphere and must be corrected. To
properly compare the two systems, the existing architecture of NOMADS
(NOAA Operational Model Archive and Distribution System) needs to be
expanded to accommodate the new data. Once the data is integrated, a
set of statistical analyses will be performed to judge their biases.
