	Professional Presentations Publications (published, in press, or in review) Undergraduate Research The University of North Carolina at Asheville has a strong undergraduate research program that provides opportunities for students to participate in a variety of laboratory and field research experiences. Students in most departments conduct senior research projects or participate in other research opportunities such as summer fellowships or paid research positions. We have been able to involve a large number of undergraduates in the Tulula Wetlands project either through paid positions, through volunteer work, or through involvement in senior research projects.
