Do you have questions about God? Do you wonder where God is in your life? Do you want to know who God is calling you to be and what God is calling you to do?
The United Methodist Campus Ministry (UMCM) meets each Sunday evening from 5:30-7pm in the Cooperative Campus Ministries House for dinner, fellowship and a program. Programs range from shared worship experiences to social justice topics. Program leadership varies from students to United Methodist leaders from across the Southeast. We can explore together faith questions and calling.
Additional special fellowship gatherings, creative worship teams at local churches, Bible Studies, and campus worship services happen throughout the semester, many planned by the Student Leadership Team.
UMCM students are also committed to local and international service projects, outreach, and mission work. We've volunteered with the Leukemia Lymphoma and Autism Societies, written letters to prisoners, helped out at the local food bank, and more. In 2006, we traveled to Costa Rica to help with a United Methodist building project and for Spring Break 2007, we’ll learn ways to help the hungry and homeless in Washington, DC.
All are welcome!
